5-Electrode technology is ForaCare’s most advanced test strip measuring technology to date. It allows our meters to have the most accurate results with wide ranges of hematocrit (0-70%).
The technology utilizes a correction electrode that, together with an algorithm inside the devices, allows the meters to compensate blood glucose values at wide ranges of hematocrit levels, as well as common external factors such as altitude and temperature variations.
